North and South Korea Conflict

The conflict between North Korea and South Korea has been going on for more than 50 years. With Korean War ended in 1953, both countries have been quiet. It’s not a peace-quiet kind of thing, but the tense-quiet which ready to strike when needed.

Now the situation is heated again after North Korea bombed the island of Yeonpyeong on November 23, 2010, killing 4 people and causing dozens of people being injured. After the aggressive attack, South Korea attacked back, and also ready to strike North’s bases, if there’s going to be a real war.

The attack by North of course received criticism from the international world, claiming that it was once again the provocative attempt to start a war. But those criticisms don’t seem to bother the North at all. It seems to be as ignorant as ever.

Why would the North have the nerve to strike the South, which is obviously get American backup? Simple, because it also gets backup from China. The Chinese Communist Party had signed an agreement with North Korea concerning Economic Partnership Agreement on the same day the attack happened. Not only that, CCP has been behind all North Korea activities – including aggressions and attacks – toward South Korea all these years.

Now, all we can do is just wait and see if a war is going to happen. There’s always a political reason behind everything, especially when it comes to different nations.
