Best Love’s National Treasure Girl – New Korean Drama

When a new drama series is about to come up, it will cause quite a stir and talk among other celebrities – the positive talk, of course. The same thing aso happen when MBC is planning to produce and release a new drama series of Best Love. The casts of the drama Best Love are already chosen and among several popular names, there’re Gong Hyo Jin, the actress who are going to act side by side with Yoo In Na, Bae Seul Gi, and Lee Hee Jin.

In the drama, they will team up and form a girl’s group. They have decided to use the name of National Treasure Girl. People may be wondering why the name was chosen for the girls. Well, their questions were answered during Happy Time program – also from MBC – which was aired on 15th of May 2011. During the show, the original idea for the name was discussed. They used the name because it was the combination of girls groups of SNSD and National Treasure.

The surprising fact is that the girls have mad quite popularity and have caused various news, although they’re not the real girl’s group. Search portals have been crowded with people wanting to know more about them.

 

SNSD Interview with Children – Kpop Star

Every 5th of May is the Children Day in Korea and SNSD had been willing to make their busy schedule a bit free for having children’s interview. The interview was held by Dispatch with having SNSD as the guests. Children were free to answer all questions they had in mind and the girls from SNSD were patient enough to answer all those questions carefully.

The interview was recorded in a video and there were transcripts available for people who can’t play the video. Here’re several questions and answered by the girls:

  • The girls cry every time they win the 1st place because they’re so happy. It’s tears of joy, not of sadness.
  • Sooyoung, one of the members, can swim although her name suggests so (Sooyoung means swimming). However, the name comes from Chinese characters of soo: exceptional and young: honor.
  • All of them like both SHINee and Super Junior. For them, Super Junior is the older brother group, while SHINee is the junior brother group.
  • All of them like to wear shorts on stage, although it can be cold. However, once they go out, they can wear layers of clothes.
  • They still feel nervous on stage, especially during award show where the winners will be announced.

2011 Korean Top Singer

Competition is a common thing in entertainment industry. It’s normal for a singer to compete with another singer. It’s common for an actor to compete with others. Competition is good as long as it’s done properly. After all, it can boost the artists’ performance and quality to do everything better and better.

 

When a poll is conducted to know who are Korean top singers, it can be used a measure instrument so that people can get clearer ideas of who are fans most favorite artists. Just recently, Enews224, a Korean news portal conducted a pool to find out who the best Korean singers are according to people in general or celebrities. This poll was taken by around 388 entertainment representatives and celebrities. It turns out that the artists from SM Entertainment manage to stay on the 6th and 7th place with SNSD (6th place with 17 votes) and TVXQ (7th place with 12 votes).

Rain and Kim Gun Mo stay on the 8th place with tie result of 11 votes. And then the 9th place goes to 4 people: Lee So Ra, Lee Moon Sae, 4minute, and Yoon Do Hyun with 8 votes. The end of the poll include Shin Seung Hoon, Lena Park, Baek Ji Young, Insooni, and others at the remain places.
